About Julio Casablanca Photography
Thirty-six years ago, Julio Casablanca and his wife moved to Texas with a vision of completing graduate school and returning to Puerto Rico to teach. But life had other plans. Captivated by the charm and spirit of Texas, they made the Lone Star State their home in 1989 and have been part of its vibrant community ever since.
A seasoned professional in the field of cybersecurity, Julio discovered his passion for photography as a creative outlet—what began as a hobby blossomed into an artistic pursuit of fine art photography. His work is inspired by the beauty, diversity, and everyday moments that make life extraordinary.
Recently, in light of our shared historical challenges and changes, Julio felt a strong calling to share his images with the world. His goal is simple yet profound: to help people reflect on the beauty surrounding them and remind them of the blessings of life in this country.
Julio’s travel and street photography project, fittingly named "Gratefull," captures fleeting moments, breathtaking landscapes, and heartfelt encounters. Each image tells a story of resilience, joy, and gratitude—a tribute to the hidden gems found in both everyday life and global adventures.
Join him on this journey, where every photograph invites you to pause, reflect, and feel grateful for the world around us.
